McCollum didn't run a strong campaign and Nelsen was better known within the state.
Connie Mack was the best....he is sorely missed!

I just got home from being at the Coast Guard Station today.
Congratulations on being the FReeper of the day and Happy FReeper Anniversary.

There was one right after I got off watch and was in the monthly Auxiliary meeting.
BTW I led the Pledge of Allegiance at the meeting.
I'll be on radio watch on the 4th from 7:30AM-after the local fireworks stop.

No, I'll be in the radio room ion watch.
With heightend security on the 4th,
lots of boat traffic and shortage of personnell on the base
my being there is more important than any fireworks display I might have see.

I hope you have a save Fourth, Tonk, and enjoy your watch.

What a beautiful tribute on your profile page. You resemble your mother, you know. Probably in more ways than we will ever know. It is a tough time, JA, a very tough time. God will be near you and He will comfort you. His peace far surpasses any other. He will wrap His loving arms around you every time you remember your dear mother.
We are here and we are your family. We care.

You write so beautifully. :-)
This bear is tired. Time to turn in here. Good night, who. Good night, all.

Oopps, left out a bit of a sentence...
Thank you so much for the work you did on your Gettysburg post. Truly a solid example of the use of multimedia for educational purposes in the best sense of the word. With your permission, I would like to do a bit of cut and paste and distill out your exceptional post into a stand alone html doc. Not for distribution, just for my personal archives. Do you have a preformated version you might send me? Private email me if you do. Again, stunning work! Thanks again.

I sure will ;-)
I have to make a habit of checking this everyday and duly reporting in.
