The federal government allowing the acceptance of these non-verifiable ID cards issued by a hostile government to their horde of illegal aliens as valid ID in any state, county, or municipality in the nation is tantamount to the federal government defecating on the graves of those who died on September 11, 2001. It's not just a disgrace, it's an intolerable outrage.

Accomodating Mexican criminals illustrates how much the feds actually care about homeland security. Zoro. Zilch. 9/11 should have ended the mollycoddling of that hole and it's invaders once and for all. Even Bush said, "You're with us, or you're against us." Mexico ain't exactly "with us", now are they?

...the IDs are increasingly being accepted...by local government agencies for the opening of bank accounts, issuance of driving licenses and even access to public libraries...

And I have to assume that the ID's also "work" when these 'undocumented' aliens to utilize *our* tax dollars via foodstamps, free medical care, housing assistance, childcare, tuition for college or whatever, etc, etc...

What's the connection between Mexico and 9/11

There is none but that's not his point.

His point appears to be that we (the US) seemed to be asleep at the wheel during the recent, September, Muslim invasion and in spite of this experience we still seem to be asleep at the wheel during the current Mexican invasion.

Not that I don't agree with you on this, but what involvement do the Feds have with this? Do they have the power to tell banks and city agencies not to accept these as ID's? I guess they probably would have the power to tell the airlines not to. But Bush is a Texas politician, and he's not going to stand up to the Hispanic population.

Bush is an American politician. I know, that may come as a surprise to many, but it's true.

This crap makes me so mad. I have ZERO respect for Jorge Bush. He is nothing but a pandering, sniveling fool when his buddy Vicente Fox snaps his fingers. America has been invaded, and America is paying the bills for the invaders. We pay, they take. Who is smarter, us or them?

Sorry, I quit smoking yesterday and my nerves are on edge. I should stay away from these threads for a few days I guess...

It might be worthwhile for any American citizen (gringo) with the $10-$25 for the bribe to the Mexican Counselor official to get one of these cards. Corruption cuts both ways. Troubled about the Mexican documents on which the crooked Mexican will issue you official Mexican ID card? Don't be. Go to the local source, probably a flea market or some such market to recycle used clothing/material, and scout out the same place that the Panamanians, Philipinos, Arab terrorists, Chinese, and Hondurans go to buy their official Mexican documents.

You homeless? An official Mexican ID card will qualify you for employment with the local democrap ward heeler. He'll pay you $5 to $10 each time you vote in the next primary or election, if he believes you will vote his way. This represents the possibility of making a couple hundred bucks, more than enough to compensate for the fake documents and the bribe to the Mexican government official.

Mexico should have been dealt with once and for all in 1848.

Mexico just walks in and sets up shop issuing ID cards to illegals and nobody says a darn thing. No problemo gringo!!

As one poster said (perhaps you) the only thing this ID card proves is that they are here illegally.

It is a sad situation. No leadership at all coming from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. I am so disgusted I don't know what to say anymore.

None dare call this treason. On the part of our lazy leaders who don't put a halt to such nonsense. The pesthole to the south was given the big green light to pull this stunt. Given the green light by the GWBush administration.

No way does this happen if Washington DC didn't allow it.

This ID card stuff is an interim amnesty of sorts. GW told Vicente Fox to please issue them. GW said: "Sorry Vicente but this is the best we can do for your people since 9-11-2001 and recession have blocked a real amnesty/guest worker program."

I don't blame the banks and states for accepting them. After all, the Mexican government has Consolates here and those consulates are staffed. That is not the point. The point is the issuance of 1,000,000 of these things is a gross abuse of diplomatic priviledge. AND THAT IS the fault of the feds. W could put a stop to this if he wanted, but this is a back-door amnesty program by other means.

Outrageous.

I want them to be issued. For me it's proof of illegal status and I can deport them.
