Kimmie - I'll bet you could find kiddie porn by signing on to Kazaa, (or its late predecessor, Napster).

I have searched for stuff on "The Simpsons" on Kazaa, and have had all sorts of interesting files come up - including porn versions of The Simpsons, one of which that claims to have Bart "pimping out" Lisa. Lotsa "teen" stuff, too.

You know, I'll go pretty far to look up stuff, but I absolutely refuse to run a search on KaZaa specifically for kiddie porn. But I'm willing to bet, that if I did and worded my search "creatively", I could find some.

We're not in Kansas anymore, Toto - and the Internet never was. I do believe I read recently (maybe here on FReep) that the thing that advanced the Internet so quickly in the early 90s was the trading of porn.

The cartoon child porn is now legal thanks to the SCOTUS...

Do you mean this?

I've never used it.. Hey you could be right. I got the impression that people "hook" up with each other, but the files are from their own harddrives and not websites. Am I wrong about that?

Yes, trading of porn has increased.

Trading of child porn increased as well. How hard is it to get into that underworld?
