Corpus Christi is not the windiest city in North America. There are at least three cities in Wyoming that are listed as having higher average wind speeds. We are probably the windiest city over 250,000. Our prevailing winds (80%) are from the SE, off the Gulf. Most afternoons will see 15-25 mph, probably averaging 20-22. April is our windy month with occassions of 4-5 days in a row of wind speeds not dropping below 30, day or night. I love the wind and our high humidities. We live on a canal with a deck on the back of our house built out over the water. At night the wind and humidity on our deck is like a soft blanket cradling a baby. If there is a heaven that is better, I hope that I find the path in time; just as I hope the Republicans find the
right fork in the road.

Excellent! But you neglected to mention one of my biggest problems with both parties-- the steady influx of illegals into the US across the southern border. It has to be stopped!
