July 5, 2002 -- Anyone who still thinks America and Israel are fighting two separate wars on terror should think carefully about yesterday's horror show at L.A. International Airport.

True, as of yesterday evening, U.S. law-enforcement officials were saying there was no evidence the attack - in which a gunman killed two people and injured several others - was terrorism.

The shooting may well have been, as FBI Special Agent Richard Garcia called it, "an isolated incident."

Yeah, right. And Islam is... well, I won't repeat it once again, or I'll puke all over the monitor.

But what I do want to emphasise, is that the policy of hiding one's head in sand isn't good even for an emu.

And people with their head in sand leave without defence exactly those parts which I wouldn't advise no one to serve on a platter to Arabs...

Kat, I hadn't heard of this. The article doesn't state if the killer was middle-eastern or not. I wonder why? If the killer was, and also a muslim, well then that was terrorism.

Here's another article: Los Angeles airport gunman Egyptian native - FBI . Why are they even asking if this was a terrorist attack?

The reason why not too much info is released about the shooter, is because the Socialistic Press has already started the "Politically Correct" B.S. spin. I am sure now that we will have to hear about the poor idiot's terrible childhood, and the lecture from the press that we should be embracing our enemy. I guarantee you, if it is a white person, it would be all over the news.

Ha'aretz reports that the gunman was an Egyptian National.

It also reports that, contrary to some reports, he did not speak during the attack.

Click the link in my post #4. The killer was a native-born Egyptian and had lived in the US since 1992.

I always thought that actions define terrorism not religion or ethnic origin. Even if he was white, Christian and shot at Iraqi Airlines, it would have been terrorism, no?

Your point is flawed. White Christians haven't been shooting up Iraqi Airlines counters. White Christians haven't been mass-murdering Muslims, as in the WTC. Violence is not only condoned, but encouraged in the Koran.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the first terrorist attack by an Islamic in the U.S. also took place in L.A., in 1968. The assassination of Robert Kennedy.

Yet another isolated incident.

I'm a little stunned. Since you brought up Sirhan Sirhan killing Robert Kennedy, I did a quick Google Search and the first two sites on the list were trying to prove that he didn't do it. No matter that he was tackled by numerous people with the gun in his hand. It's too early in the morning for tin-foil revisionism.

I'm a little stunned too - at the outrageous lies of our government yesterday. I posted half-in-jest yesterday afternoon that I thought pressure was being applied from the highest levels to suppress all information about this terrorist act, and to describe it as an isolated incident. Just so the government could make sure all the little sheeple could have a happy, unsuspecting 4th of July. It was the government's birthday - and nobody was going to spoil it for them.

So how ironic - we celebrate Independence Day - while our Ministry of Information lies to us. Win the battle, lose the war. Well, it's the 5th of July, the party's over, and we can now start sweeping up the mess. Suicide bombers are now active as of the 4th, just like the Jihadists said they'd be.

he didn't act alone, even if he shot a gun at KENNEDY-but i'll let the matter rest-more pressing stuff today(i forget the coupla books i read, but the slob was a patsy, like OSWALD.)

My brief Google search just showed that certain interest groups were trying to exonerate the muslim, Sirhan Sirhan. The only reason he ever gave for shooting Robert Kennedy was Kennedy's support for Israel. Kennedy wasn't even supposed to go through that hotel kitchen, it was a last minute change. I can still hear the on-the-scene announcer saying, "He's got a gun, get the gun, get the gun, break his fingers if you have to!" There's no question that Sirhan Sirhan killed Robert Kennedy, unlike what those websites would have you believe. Ask Rosie Greer, Kennedy's bodyguard. Are you also a President Kennedy conspirator theorist? Not that there's anything wrong with that, just curious.

Thank you for your reply. I have a lot of questions about President Kennedy's assasination also, but I think this deserves it's own thead, which will probably be deleted as tin-foil hatter. :)

The NY Post is the most pro-Israel newspaper in America....presenting their Editorial as an unbiased source on this topic is pretty funny.

BTW, please don't ping me. Thanks.
