President Bush, along with his wife, Laura, and daughter, Jenna, departed today for their annual trip to Kennebunkport, Maine. Well-wishers gave the President an early birthday send off today since Bush will be spending his birthday, July 6th, in Maine. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I love The Dose, The Canteen, ATRW, and The Guild. This is the only one I usually have time to read, and only manage to scan the others. The Canteen is a full time job, lol. Then I have to read all the news.....my day isn't long enough.

We had a wonderful 4th. Started the day with the community parade, saw friends, cooked out, watched the D.C. and NYC fireworks on tv, then went outside and watched the local fireworks. How about you?

Absolutely love the pixes tonight -- Dubya looks gorgeous (with the lilac tie); Laura looks stunning; the dogs look happy; Jenna looks adorable; Papa Bush looks proud; and the compound looks incredible (a great place for Dubya to unwind and celebrate his birthday)!!

I thank God every day that the President has such a large and loving family to sustain him during these stressful times!

I didn't get a chance to do much as it was hot, humid,hazy and hundred yesterday in Baltimore. LOL! The four H's! It got to about 108 degrees. So I mostly stayed inside in the AC. I did go to church in the Moening. and watched the history channel.
