Keep reading that to yourself and see if it still makes sense. How does shutting down a jazz/comedy show make anyone more "patriotic"? Do you really want to start shutting down every one you may not agree with?

And by the way, I can't help but notice you sure do seem to see terrorists everywhere.

I know a bit abuout jazz music and yes Dave Douglas is a leftist. A view of his website will show links to anti-American leftist groups. A recent album of his featured pro-feminist, pro-Marxist and pro-Palestinian songs, including one dedicated to Edward Said. I do not know of any regular protests of his concerts and they problably don't occur because while he is very popular for a jazz musician, he isn't any where near as popular as most rock or rap bands.

Ironically he has long played with saxophonist John Zorn who makes awful music but is a committed Zionist.
