Get real!! The RATS have always had the upper hand with hispanics and now that the pubbies are having a fair shot at this colossus voting block, many oppose it! GET OVER IT, hispanics are here to stay, and YOU'LL be amazed how many, like myself are very PATRIOTIC! I LOVE MY COUNTRY, and yes I would DIE for it too! It thrills me that the Bush's are aiming and receiving great KUDOS from the Hispanic community! Come election time, just like the blacks in the past who were the domineering voting block, the Hispanic vote will determine the elections! We have a great opportunity to cease upon this block. So many KUDOS to those who are willing to take that extra mile! I think the pubbies should adopt that great scripture which says, "GENTLE AS A DOVE, BUT CUNNING AS A SERPENT."

However, In the longer-term, Spanish will decline, simply because US-Born Hispanics Assimilate into the English LAnguage just like previous generations of immigrant children. 75% of US-Born Hispanics swithc to English, and also English has the Money behind it, Spanish Does not. To make it in this country you've got to know good English else, you'll remain poor.

Hispanic Does NOT = Spanish Speakng, in fact of the
36 Million Hispanics, only 17 Million Speak it as their Dominant Language, the remaining 19 Million Speak Primarily English as their 1st Language. Why can't the Politicians, communicate to them in English. Over 90% of Hispanics (Foreign & US-Born), speak English, and 78% speak it very well (proficiently).
