Yes, as long as the ship in question is decommissioned. When the Lexington decommissioned in 1991, that name became available for a new ship.

The Lexington to which you refer was the second aircraft carrier to go by that name. The first was sunk at the Battle of the Coral Sea. The second Lexington was used as a training carrier and had to be retired because its engines wore out and broke down.
