The Chinese don't have the balls for suicide missions the way the radical ragheads do.
The Chinese are much more willing to accept long-term results, or wait for the winds of change to shift in their favour. Patience is one virtue they certainly posess.
Considering that the Islam-supremicists believe that their Allah is on their side and will eventually prevail, they're remarkably unwilling to wait for later incremental victories, but instead demand the smallest or slightest of possible immediate results. That's a weakness of theirs worth exploiting.
