How about pedestrians disregarding crosswalks, and instead walking willy-nilly across the middle of the street? I drive on 34th Street every day to get to work, and I have to dodge these morons who think they're too good to wait for the light and use the crosswalk. The worst ones are during the evening -- unless they're wearing reflective clothing, they're an accident waiting to happen.

My favorite pedestrian-situation is weaving in and out of cars, in between bumpers, as I traverse the cross-walk -- these are cars that get stuck in the crosswalk when the light changes, and all we pedestrians just jump right into the street so we can get to the other side.
It's the whole untidy but practical quality of that situation which appeals to me.
