Bob Pittman is to be tossed as AOL Time Warner COO - the only question is when, The Post has learned.

AOL CEO Dick Parsons is talking to HBO boss Jeffrey Bewkes about stepping into a top role at the company, possible in a newly configured office of the CEO.

I knew the AOL Time-Warner merger was doomed from the get go since they used the term "Synergy" to describe the merger. Whenever a corporation uses the term "Synergy," it is ALWAYS doomed to financial failure. Mere use of this term places a curse on any enterprise that dares to use it.

BTW, when naming your baby, another term to avoid like the plague is "Lance." Every Lance I ever heard of has ended up engaged in some very bizarre alternate lifestyles. Mommas, don't name your babies "Lance."
