I saw the thing comming out of the sky.

It had one big horn and a great big eye.

Purple People Eater! Great to see the lyrics, so apropos!

A few years ago, humourist Dave Barry had just transferred to Miami Herald from New York. One of his early columns was about snakes flying through the air all over Miami because the air was so thick with humidity it could support their weight. Very funny piece. Thalassodromeusi with wingspans of nearly 15 feet and a body lengths of 6 feet would definitely get the right of way....I can just see ground control trying to work them into landing patterns with a hundred private planes....such fun.
