Bad behaviour not suited to a court of law

EARLY this month, when the final in a series of gang rape trials involving two
brothers was getting under way, Judge Michael Finnane was moved to say this to
the young men: "I am not going to have the place [court] turned into a three-ring
circus."

It was one of many times the judge was forced to admonish the rapists - and
sometimes their family supporters - over their in-court behaviour.

In this instance, he was referring to a complaint about one of the brothers laughing
and smiling while the victim was testifying.

Throughout the four gang rape trials, which began in November last year and
ended this month, the youths sometimes acted as though the whole court process
was some sort of sick joke.

The family of two brothers who featured in both trials this year had, throughout the
trials, professed their sons were innocent, victims of a police set-up and of racism
within our legal system.

Indeed, the mother of these two males was herself charged with perverting the
course of justice in relation to the horrific August 30 six-hour rape of an
18-year-old woman. The charges were later withdrawn.

At the end of one trial, late last year, one family member professed loudly in Arabic
that it was not a crime to f... a white slut.

As well, in one of the trials, while Crown Prosecutor Margaret Cunneen was
cross-examining one of the accused men, his family members sat in the back of the
court, reacting angrily to the questions and referring loudly to Ms Cunneen as a
"slut".

Because the trial was held in a court where the court body and the public gallery
are separated by thick glass, these unsavoury comments, and others like them,
were not audible to those inside the court - a great pity, because Ms Cunneen and
the judge deserved to hear them, said in the sneering and derogatory tone in which
they were uttered.

Many of the utterances, followed by loud laughter, were in Arabic, meaning most of
us were unaware of the full extent of the commentary.

Strange that the propagandists of the main stream media let this thru, but perhaps Aussie leftists are not as advanced as our own American leftists at hiding the effects of "diversity." I even suspect the case in California will turn out to be an admonishment for tolerance, diversity, multi-culturalism instead of the cause of vengence upon evil.

Ok, just because they started calling her "white slut" does not mean we need to immediately turn around and call them towel-head racists.

This was a rape. He should be charged. If he wants to inflict more pain on himself, obviously tack the "hate crime" note on top.

I mean he's so freakin' intelligent - his way of plotting to get himself a lethal injection.

I think we should stop spending so much time on these nutjobs. All they want is for someone to pay some attention to them anyway. Throw 'em in prison and ignore them for the rest of their Bubba-luvin' lives.

Since muslims don't accept a secular state but just an islamic one, they also don't accept the code of law, so in their mind no crime was committed.
They should be treated according to their own excuse for a code instead, would be nice to hear loud laughter then.

Unfortunately it seems like a trend in all countries that harbour a large muslim population, to have problems with racist motivated gang rapes. If someone pick's a specific ethnic group to commit a crime against then it is racism no matter if it concerns Caucasians. However though the mainstream media doesn't portray it like that.
It's always young girls that get raped and they will have a very hard time of recovery. One can only speculate how long time it will take, if at all possible for them to create families in future. This is a typical way of muslim warfare against other nations, it's part of a wither population-war.
Wish we could ignore them, but I don't think so...

I believe rape should be punished by death too IF there is no question of fact( a false accusation of rape should also be punished by death).
