These scandals are democrat scandals... they are eating their own and trying to blame the indigestion on the BUSH adminisration.

EVERY one of these deals is eyeball deep in democrat administration malfeasance... but exposing it now, COULD hurt republicans chances in November... or not.

poor turnout USUALLY hurts dems. Bush is pretty popular... and the case IS being made that former Clinton officials allowed this crap as political favors which have now gone awry...

This tells me the dems are beyond desperate, and moving into suicidal over their ejection from power...

"The hell with the Republicans."

I agree with you. They're spineless, gutless and no better than the commieRats. If the slickmiester had done what Bush has condoned over the past few months, there would have been a revolution. All I see is a huge police state, bigger inept government, less freedom, none of the clintonian executive orders repealed, etc. etc...
Nope, I voted for him once, but not again...I'll either stay home, or hold my nose and pull the lever for the witch....at least with hitlery she is consistant: plain evil, but I know what I'm getting. With the witch in power, it just might bring the country back to it's senses...but I doubt it.
Bush has essentially betrayed his whole conservative base to bring to us a new form of government: "compassionate communism" with a new world order initiative...whadda guy!!

"Sometime I think the Republican goal is self destruction or we either have too many Democrats disguised as Republicans."

The republicans currently exist for one primary purpose. That purpose is to make us think we have a "choice" at election time. This has fooled too many of us for far too long. In order to rid ourselves of the democrats, we must elect ONLY democrats. The republican party is a FRAUD and it's sole purpose is to protect the democrats from having to fight a true conservative movement.

I suspect that the "inside-the-Beltwayers" aren't aware of just how watched they are right now by the rest of us. Politicians are giddy with delight at what is happening to the markets while the rest of America is afraid of losing their retirement investments. Furthermore, they see their investments draining out of their own accounts and into the accounts of Terry McAuliffe and friends.

They all think that they can leverage this until November, but people want it solved now. People don't want one side of politicians talking down the economy while the other side is afraid to make a move.

In the end, I hope, the people will pin this on the side where it belongs. It's one thing to tell people that "it's just about sex, everybody does it, let's just move on." People will accept that when it is ethereal stuff like the ebb and flow of political power. They will pay keen attention when their bank accounts are being raided.

I hope.

If you voted a straight republican ticket, you yourself helped confuse the "people" as to who the blame belongs. The democrats, whom you despise are the beneficiaries of your vote.

This economy was beginning to tank BEFORE Clinton left office. Had Al Gore been elected, he and his democratic co-horts would have NOBODY to blame for the current fiasco. Those who helped put Bush in office sure bailed out the democrats by giving them someone to point fingers at. The stupidity of the majority of the electorate is still easily fooled by "sound-bite" politics which the democrats will take full advantage of by having someone else to blame. Whose fault is it that our security sucks and our economy is in free-fall? The democrats primarily. Whose fault is it that they have someone else to blame for this? Everyone who voted republican last election. It seems that we always elect democrats to crap on the floor, then we elect republicans to step in it.

I do hope you are right. But what does the electorate know? They're bombarded 24/7 with anti-Bush reports in every paper and on all tv newscasts.

All my statements are based on the premise that the electorate has awakened to the nature of the game, and they don't like it. Consider:

I'm banking on the premise that the sleeping giant has been awakened, and is studying to catch up on recent events. Come November 5, I hope to see a large, unmeasured Conservative base go out to the polls and surprise everyone.

No giant has awakened. Patriot act, passed. Tips, passed. We now live in a police state.

The giant you speak of, wallows in fear of a couple of sand tribes thousands of miles away. Discusting.
