I find it interesting that Traficant is the Fall Guy for the D-goons when Condit wasn't expelled, Ted Kennedy didn't allow investigation into his drive into the big drink with his "companion" and Barney Frank wasn't expelled for running a male prostitution sex ring in the basement of his house. What's wrong with this picture?

As I sees it, they want to expose him for being vocal about what *really* happened at Ruby Ridge, WACO, Oklahoma City b_mbing, and I think TW800. Please add to the list if you know of any other expose'.

Guess what? A SECOND juror is speaking out about the case. Shouldn't congress hear both of these jurors before casting this vote? Doesn't that make sense?

Because it makes no difference.

See, Detore didn't testify before the jury at Traficant's trial. He may have been subpoenaed, but he said he was going to take the 5th. The jury can only vote for conviction or acquittal based on the information they are presented, and because Detore refused to testify at Traficant's trial, Detore didn't allow the jurors to hear his story. Once the case went to the jury, Traficant--and the jurors and prosecution--are stuck with that vote.

Of course, if Detore had testified before the jury at Traficant's trial, it would have exposed him to cross examination by the prosecution and possible testimony from others that may have rebutted his testimony. He didn't get that testifying before the Ethics' committee. He still exposed himself to considerable risk, but the risk was much less had he testified at Traficant's trial.

You must be joking.

Nope, deadly serious. Of course, I never said I had any reason to believe she was the actual words on the page she was reading from...

The RATS want him out because he doesn't play their BS game. However, I am increasingly believing this entire prosecution and Congressional railroading job is going to blow up in everybody's faces, and Traficant's going to eventually be exonerated, with some of his accusers and their lawyers ending up the ones in jail. Two jurors already saying they were lied to by the prosecution during trial is very, VERY serious.

Traficant One Minuite Speech:

ACCEPTING RESPONSIBILITY FOR TEACHING MORALS AND VALUES

July 15, 1998

Mr. Speaker, once in America, parents imparted their values and morals to their children. Today, it is out with parents, in with computers. Some even liken it to a Tower of Babble in each family room.

Check this out. Last month a woman gave birth on the Internet; and today two teenagers announced, through their attorney, no less, that they will surrender their virginity live on the Internet. Unbelievable. What is next? A late-term abortion? How about an on-line sacrifice to Satan, folks?

Beam-me-up.com.

I say it is time for these computer companies to shove their software up their hard drives live on the Internet. One last thing, on a serious note. I believe America is in sad shape when computers begin to replace parents in passing down our morals and values.

I yield back any common sense left in the country.

Traficant saw congress for what it is. A tragic comedy played by con artists and grand court jesters. He doesn't fit and no way can he stay. He fought the power and lost.

Scotty: Well, before they warped out of town, I beamed him into the Senate chambers ... where there'll be no Tribble at all.

Spongebob shrunk everyone in Bikini Bottom. The only one left is Mr. Plankton.

As you can see, I have lost control of my television, so thank you for the thread.

Isn't he much more likely to resign just prior to the vote to save his pension and perhaps other perks?
