Yep, first "they" cane for the smokers, and nobody gave a rat's rip about it...
Then "they" came for the gun owners, and still nobody cared...
Now "they" are comin' for the Soccer Moms... but they are the "last century's hot demographic group," so it will be interesting to see if anyone cares about them...

The only thing that's certain is that whatever impacts the legislation produces, if any, won't be felt until after Davis' reign as governor is ended.

This is the way it is on all of Davis' decisions ... the budget crisis (just get through it now, it won't matter when I'm gone); the energy crisis (20 plus years of debt and higher rates); education (my reforms need time to work ... and if they don't, so what, I won't be in office anymore!)
