What sets people off more than anything else is the hijacking of this and other threads from whatever topic is being discussed to LT's peculiar agenda.

I'd have to ask, what people, other than you and a few others? I'm not sure how you apply "hijack". Other people are still able to post on the thread, no? I'ts been pointed out to you before that the major part of FR posting is in response to something allegedly inaccurate someone else posted. I'll ask again, how is this any different? I've asked it of you more than once and haven't recieved an answer.

You keep bearing down on the "British Israelis", as if you mean to try demonizing historical data, an interpretation of which they use in part. I'll ask again,if a nut organization uses it's interpretation of historical data (from the translation of actual inscriptions for the time period in question, plus corrobrating passages from the Bible) for it's own ends, does the this mean that the data is ipso facto invalid? This same organization says that communism is bad. Does the fact they that mean communism is good?

I've asked you that more than once, too, and have gotten no answer. The only conclusion I can come to is that you have no alternate theory to contradict that information and the implications of the information threatens you somehow so that you try any dark and discredible tactic you can to avoid facing it.

Sorry for the cynical statement. Maybe you can suggest any other conclusion I can make from your past and present comments?

As for threads on another forum, the innaccurate ideas are expressed on this one and so the appropriate place to offer contrary information is on this one.

Liberal Jews are sounding more pro-Israel these days, despite Lerner and Chomsky. How much value do they put on Israel, as opposed to their distaste for evangelicals, is hard to say. I'd say Israel comes in second. Conservatives: As for "aloof," I can't help but feel rather at arm's length, politically. At some level, there's this sense that because Jews have a role in New Testatament eschatology, that makes evangelicals suspect.

Not Jewish (?) Would have thought that clear. But I'd love to be invited to Passover(g).

I doubt Hillary did well among any of those three. Her victory was astonishing even for liberal NY...It's my hunch she did not come by it honestly. I've been reading some of the campus writings of young Jewish students who are dismayed at the hostility and antisemitism of those they previously regarded as political allies. To a one, they include some form of..."What will I do? The only ones who sympahize are Republicans, and I can't have anything to do with *them*". Or some dreadfully bigoted reference to evangelicals is thrown in with great casualness, as if any reader would agree as of course. As if every Baptist is the Grand Wizard of the KKK. Wish I could pull them up for you, but it's been awhile, I think I found most of them through Horowitz. These are young liberals, but the blatant antimsemitism of so much that has happened on campus doesn't necessarily penetrate the way it ought to.

Go to your local synagogue and see if you can take a class in Judaism. Conservative is best, Orthodox often will not let you in and Reform is watered down. You will find many things in the Bible and about Christianity becoming clearer as you learn.

I have never understood why more Christians don't do this. It is like never studying Greek or Roman government to learn more of why the US government structure is they way it is.

Oh, and yes you do get invited for Passover.

Cheap shot...

There ARE two perspectives regarding "Christian-Jewish relations," aren't there??
