You know, the bad rap the militias in this country have are mostly undeserved. Tim McVeigh was not in the militia, contrary to what the media spewed.
Most folks that I know that are involved in the militia are some of the most law abiding, partriotic people I have ever met. Now, the JBT's are targeting every C/O of every militia in the country as a scare tactic. Just look at Charlie Puckett. If it can happen to Charlie, believe me when I say it can happen to any of us that are gun owners, or religious, or conservative.
It's a shame that a lot of people believe everything they hear about militias, instead of finding out for themselves. Sure there are idiots out there. Those idiots are given there walking papers by most militias, and they end up in Christian Identity, or some other Racist org. Racists, terrorists, druggies, etc. are not welcomed into any militia that I know of, but to hear the media spew it, that is all a militia is comprised of. It's simply just not true. It sure would be nice if more people would find out for themselves, instead of believing everything they are told, whether or not they wanted to participate (wishful thinking).

If they aren't, how can you describe them as "law abiding?"
