FReepers, set your VCRs!
This will be a can't-miss program!

I can't figure it out. The press in this country doesn't do squat without reading the government script but lately there have been lots of segments fairly critical of the WOD. They must be trying to get some tax breaks

Mr. Stossel is "da bomb", as the kids say.
The head of the DEA, Asa Hutchinson, disagrees, calling these arguments "cutting his bloated budget and ensconced power base"

I pretty much boycott ABC. Does this mean I should stop?

Poor John. He was our hero when he was dissing the media for molding opinion (ya know, editing out Hillary's boos, and such), but now he has stumbled upon the Sacred Cow. We must shun him.

I boycott them all but I think I can make an exception for this. If they start out with the pot plant clip, then switch to the pile of white powder with money and machine gun toting terrorists standing around we'll know it's just another spin job.

How long before the obsessed warriors show up? It does take a few minutes for all of them to receive their secret email alerts and use their decoder rings. :-)

"hold people accountable for what they do, not for what they put into their bodies," Dangerous words. Could cost a lot of people their jobs. Maybe we could staff an effective Border Security force with them?

I have a quick question for all of those that think ending the war on drugs is the best idea since pizza: would legalizing drugs make it easier to get them?

No. Read the threads about Inuit huffing gasoline. Addicts will find drugs no matter if they are literally 4000 miles from the nearest dealer and can't rub two dimes together.

Let's quit the insanity and sell the less addictive ones at liquor stores with strong, factual warning labels. If they're cheap, the money will drain out of the drug trade, we'll have less corruption, and we won't be training any more future mafiosos.

True. It could be a bait and switch program..

They're sniffing cow dung in Mayalasia. The cops are worried because it's a free high.

It's easy to get them now. Would be pretty hard to make it much easier...

It might surprise you, but I'm totally against legalizing drugs. Its the only market that has escaped the child-proof cap (I hate those damn things).

would legalizing drugs make it easier to get them? Yes, it would. That doesn't alter the fact that it is the correct public policy position.

Not only are they easy to get but they are priced in a range that only a millionare or a criminal could afford regularly.
