I can't figure it out. The press in this country doesn't do squat without reading the government script but lately there have been lots of segments fairly critical of the WOD. They must be trying to get some tax breaks

I think its a scam. If "ABC" comes out in favor of decriminalization, then so-called "conservatives" who have not quite made up their minds will most likely call it "liberal propaganda" and thus decide the WOD is a good idea.
