I have a quick question for all of those that think ending the war on drugs is the best idea since pizza: would legalizing drugs make it easier to get them? About the same as tabacco or alchohol, I'd think. You just couldn't sell it to minors.

I can't figure it out. The press in this country doesn't do squat without reading the government script but lately there have been lots of segments fairly critical of the WOD. They must be trying to get some tax breaks. I think its a scam. If "ABC" comes out in favor of decriminalization, then so-called "conservatives" who have not quite made up their minds will most likely call it "liberal propaganda" and thus decide the WOD is a good idea.

Should read "child and doper/libertarian proof...do not use if freedom seal is broken"
Truth in advertising at last!!

They're sniffing cow dung in Mayalasia. The cops are worried because it's a free high. The funniest line yet. Never mind that they're sniffing, but that it's free.

would legalizing drugs make it easier to get them? I doubt it. Possibly marginally easier for legal adults, but I can say with certainty that it would be harder for underage teens to get them, as it's currently easier for an average high school student to obtain marijuana or ecstacy than alcohol or tobacco.

Some people believe that drugs can't be legalized without doing irreparable damage to our own economy. All of the drug money that has to be laundered through a bazillion legitimate businesses would suddenly be sucked out of the system.

My question about this War on Drugs is "Who benefits from it?" The answer: the same people who decide to pursue it.

Read the threads about Inuit huffing gasoline. There was also one about kids huffing freon. I hate to sound like an ol' coot, but kids today are so stupid they can't tell the difference between buzzed and poisoned. Somebody needs to buy 'em a 6-pack and a dime bag (oops, I forgot, that's illegal).

Personally, I prefer the term "Crimionaire".

I pretty much boycott ABC. Does this mean I should stop? John Stossel is but a rare gem trapped inside an ABC hell. Although I do like that they let him say it as it is.

Never fear, if there is money to be made, 'authorities' will come up with some method to control the trade. - Cow shit patrols if need be.

if John was really beating up the press about the hillary booing stuff,
and he was pointing out they were hiding it, then he would be ok to
watch on this.
I have seen more stuff on this subject today than I have in several months..
Maybe things are changing for the better.

Its not such a stretch. Round these parts, the cops patrol the local pastures looking for mushroom pickers.

Judging by your answer, admission of inclusion in either class, you are a criminal in the eyes of the law!!!!
WOD-Thugs en-route, Delta-Swat surveilance started, subjects Constitutional Rights have been suspeneded per Rule 101.429.171 of the Tyranny Code (TC) supported by new provisions in the USAPatAct, suspicion of monetarily supporting terrorism...go..go..go

Ha! You are perpetually one step ahead. The futility of controlling shrooms is just one rainy night away from the futility of controlling cow pies.
