I think that the Senate should remove him just as the House removed Traficant....but the Dems probably won't because Daschle would lose control and his ability to block Bush's Judicial nominees.

Traficant had the additional baggage of a conviction. I don't see anything of import happening to Torrecelli. Additionally, SHOULD the ethics panel slap his hand, it will most likely be sealed and we will never know the extent of the hand slapping. We will see some generic 'disciplinary action taken by ethics panel' headline for show, and that will be the end of it.

This is precisely why I will not and cannot respect democrats. Democrats will persue justice and stand up for what's right, ONLY when it will benifit them! They will never do right when it will hurt them!
