Since the environmentalist wackos are all in the DNC's hip pocket we can figure the odds of any Republican getting cooperation in their states for such an agreement at about zilch.

What really grates on me about this is Tom Daschle's attitude. He knows he is being partisan. It's like his skinny behind is hanging out there naked and everyone is pointing it out to him, only they're being very loud about it.

This guy Dashole should be hung from the Geroge Washungton memorial bridge. He then should be left for the crows and buzzards to pick apart.

A: 'I don't want to say anything about the matter to avoid being accused of trying to influence the SEC's important work in any way.'

Cheney cannot win; if he doesn't say anything, he's accused of stonewalling or hiding something.

If he comes out and discusses this, he will be accused of trying to spin the SEC and the potential "jury pool."

And who is saying that? Why, none other than the man who has filed a lawsuit against Cheney and Halliburton, the good conservative, Larry Klayman.
