I think resident aliens have been allowed to join our military for a long time. This guy Semi Osman apparently has a green card.

Actually non-citizens who enlist can become citizens in only three years, not five. Actually, an Al-Qurazy operative would probably have a much more difficult time infiltrating an active duty unit, becuase of the time the unit spends together. Reserve units, with their limited contact would be easier to have a mole in.

I was in the Artillery back in '65-'68 with some fellas that probably weren't citizens at the time. They were just as good as cannon fodder as we were. Or, as otherwise known, Targets.

None of us asked if they were citizens.

It's common and a good way for many to gain citizenship... MOST who do are loyal and quite motivated. Some few, like this one, would make it hard for the good ones...

Because our dumb government says so. Check out this link from the Selective Service System.

Almost all other male noncitizens are required to register, including illegal aliens, legal permanent residents, and refugees.

The United States doesn't need any help from any of the above but our diversity crazed multicuturalist leaders seem to think nothing of putting American lives in harms way for a vote to save the party.
