Kim du Toit-Rant: Finally, A Little Common Sense

12:05am:  Finally, A Little Common Sense

The U.S. House of Representatives has proposed a bill which does a couple of good things:

Message to the President:  You are sailing into waters where you do not belong.  Not that we don't trust you-- it's nothing personal.  But we're not going to give any government this much power over our lives-- and this includes you and your successors.  You'd have to persuade us that you've done everything, and I include nuking Mecca in the definition of "everything", before I would even think of letting you turn this nation into the totalitarian nightmare of your "Homeland Security" initiatives.  If you keep this shit up, you are going to turn into President "Juan Term" [thank you, Mark Steyn], just like your dad.  Quit fucking around and get serious.  Arm airline pilots.  Seal the borders and don't issue any visitors' visas for people from Arab Muslim countries.  Revoke all student visas and deport all students from Arab Muslim countries (we can talk about the Chinese later).  Revoke visitors' visas for people from Arab Muslim countries, and give them 24 hours to leave the country, under penalty of a 5-year prison sentence.  Take care of Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya, Egypt... you know who they are.  All that should keep you and your Homeland Security flunkies busy enough, for a while.

In the meantime, leave U.S. citizens the hell alone.

Black conservative ping

If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)

Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

I'm gonna have to bump this. GWB is every bit the idiot that the left always said he was. I voted for him. I still have his PRIMARY stickers on my bumper and I have his picture on my wall. But they are all coming down and off. The guy is a female kitty cat. I truly hate him and this piece includes my latest reasons. They are now legion.

Um, Mr. Du Toit was born in South Africa, so under our current laws, he cannot be president in the USA. I've read his blog too; it's pretty interesting, and he has a great sense of humor to boot. Some of his rants are entitled "Life Among The Liberals" (parts 1 through 5, I think). :)

100% correct.

I can't decide if Ashcroft and GWB have come up with granny-stripping and cable guy spying because they're stupid, or because they're fascists.

Seems to me like it's one or the other.

Heyyy, our government has trampled on all our laws, especially regarding emigration and we are suppose to uphold this tiny little law about him not being born here?=o)

I agree totally. I voted for Bush, and I worked on his campaign, but I won't be voting for him again, I don't think, unless he takes a totally take-no-prisoners stand for our Constitutional freedoms (and repealing the assault weapons ban wouldn't hurt, either). I will not vote for a jack-booted thug, and I don't care what political party he's from.
