For once the Oregon/Live aka Oregonian had more on this fire than KGWTV. I guess that it is too close to Portland to ignore.

It is amazing how hot that area can get in the summer time.

Next month is the hot month.

Where do you live in Oregon now?

I had planned to be in this area fly fishing next week or the week after:

The 20,000 White River fire threatened the Deschutes River canyon south of Maupin. The river from the city park to Shearar's Falls seven miles downstream was closed to whitewater rafters. The fire was about a mile from Maupin on Friday.

Along the south side of the River (changes directions like a drunk driving) in the Maupin Area to Warm Springs, the brush growth along the river is horrible. It would be like touching a match to a fuse.

Remember this fire, the Biscuit Fire. This was the crown jewel of no roads, no dead tree removal, no brush removal and the Green Agenda. They are ignoring this disaster in the media as this beautiful area burns up. Thanks to the ONRC and the really hostile eco green agendas, this area could turn to ashes!

Grampa Dave was warning about this pending disaster when this was a small fire.

Also of major concern were the 1,120 acre North Umpqua Complex in southwestern Oregon and the 15,880 Biscuit-Florence Fire southwest of Cave Junction.

Thanks for your list!

This is a good list of those whose anti human green agendas are now endangering the crown Jewels of Oregon and the people who live in Oregon:

Andy Kerr and the NRDC
Vera Katz and the City of Portland
Bruce Babbitt and the radicals in the USFS
The filthy idiot tree-sitting hippies
The Sierra Club
Nature Conservancy and the bozos that sell land to them
Our cowardly governor
State-funded radical environmentalist UO & OSU professors
Tre Arrow & friends
and all their enablers

I would add Rat senators like Da$$hole, our Boxer/Chi Fi Frankenstein, Kerry, Kennedy, Leaky Leahy, Kennedy who enabled the Druids to take over our Forestry Service, BLM and Park Services.

Fishing was fun as I went to learn how to use my new Spey Fly Fishing Rods.

The problem is that they are releasing so much water to make electicity to keep the lights on, that fishing is minimal.

The fast flowing and 3 to 4 times normal amount of water going down stream makes it really hard to fish. Also, the fish just gather behind a rock to conserve energy and don't strike much during these heavy water releases.

This is another example of Rat politician governors and envirals out of control.
