""She has probably received a handsome sum..."
Good point. I always wondered how much the Kennedys paid the Kopechne family
not to file an open and shut wrongful death suit, which would have led to real discovery instead of the ludicrous Edgartown charade. At least the settlement would have been publically aknowledged.
I can't imagine any of these people not wanting the truth, and justice, unless they were offered "a deal they couldn't refuse."

both the OIC and Foster's former wife Who is the IC now?

Remember that Vince Foster was the Clinton's personal lawyer and close friend for many many years. (I assume you are referring to Bill Clinton.)
This is disinformation.
There is no evidence that Bill Clinton and Vince Foster were close friends, or even friends. Foster was 19 months older than Clinton. They lived on adjoining properties in Hope until Clinton was four years old. Then Clinton moved to the other side of town for two years before moving to Hot Springs 75 miles away.
They didn't grow up together. They didn't go to high school together. They didn't go to college together. They didn't go to law school together, and they didn't go to Moscow together.
If you go to a decent library you can find books which record the words of our Presidents. These have speeches, press conferences, etc. In the 1993 volume for President Clinton you will not find a single sentence where he uses the words friend and Foster together. (There was an impromptu press conference near a watermelon stand in Hope the day of the Foster funeral though.)
Several years ago when the Hubbster (who was an adult friend of both Clinton and Foster) was hawking his book, I had an opportunity to ask him about the Clinton-Foster friendship on Bob Grant's radio show with Grant playing straight man: "Where are we going with this, Mike?" he asked. I explained and the Hubbster didn't challenge anything I said. When I asked the Hubbster about the sort of things that Foster and Clinton did together, his answer to me was, "How would I know? I wasn't there." (Consider the absurdity of this statement from similar supposed relationships in your own life.)
One final note about my conversation with the Hubbster: When I mentioned golf as an example of something that Clinton and Foster might have done together, the Hubbster told me, "Vince didn't play golf." I find it more than interesting that the rotund one is on record describing events on that mysterious weekend where he "cheered up" Foster on Maryland's Eastern Shore immediately preceding Fosters demise. He says that he and Foster "hit golf balls."
It's easy to tell when these guys are lying, which is almost any time they open their mouths.

Good Lord, man! Watch your back!!! These people are extremely dangerous! That having been said, keep up the good work! So much surrounding the Clinton mafia and their rule just didn't add up...except for the body count. It would be a blessing to finally know the truth.

Saw ya on PAX TV (you know, the network owned by the next Governor of CA) last night on the program about the "Unexplained!" Sure glad to see you get some kind of publicity!!! Courage to you my good man!
Remember the ancient chinese curse is a two parter and most folks never remember the more important second part... "May you live in interesting times... And come to the attention of powerful people!"

Is there anyway you can bypass the 9th circuit? Whatever happens at the Ninth Circuit, any party that didn't get everything it wanted will probably ask the U.S. Supreme Court to hear the case. But that is totally discretionary with the SC and the odds are less than 1 in a hundred that they would hear it, if you ask me.

Oh my gosh. I swallowed that Vince and Bill Clinton boyhood chums story hook, line and sinker. It never occurred to me, "not one time" (hehe), that that wasn't true.
I can't thank you enough for your post on this thread. Very eye-opening.

I can't thank you enough for your post on this thread. Very eye-opening. And thanks for your comment. It really helps people like myself who still keep at this after nine years.

...OIC and Foster's former wife and one of his sister's filed petitions for rehearing in the Ninth Circuit to stop release of 4 of the 10 Fort Marcy Park Polaroid body photos. Was the sister Sheila Anthony? Was she the same one who cut the 2 or 3 hundred dollar check to Lisa Foster right after the "suicide"? (The check being cut while good 'ole Sheila was holding down a big 'ole job in the Clinton administration.) Thanks, AJF for all your brave efforts and I really hope you are successful eventually.

Thanks for the update Allan. Sounds like another delaying tactic.

Thanks for your addition to this thread. I fell for the "buddy" story all along, until now.

Bump
ml/nj, thanks for your insight. The events during the weekend before his death still hides many secrets, imo.

I just read an opinion of Pregerson's for a majority of a divided panel in an ERISA (federal pension law) case from 1997 yesterday. Not only did the Supreme Court proceed to reverse Pregerson unanimously. As the dissent at the Ninth Circuit level complains, Pregerson cited no precedent for his critical holding in the case. It's the Jacobson v. Hughes Aircraft Co. case.

Father Monty does have an interesting web site. Note that Freepers aren't the only ones who find the Foster case troubling.

"and why those numbers were put into the FBI search list some months before his death and by whom"
There was at least one thread on this a while back. The consensus was that this wasn't too exciting. Let me know if you need help finding it.
