It's about time this all comes out, though buried as it will be in the news cycle of child abductions, stock market fluctuations and bankruptcies.

This makes me so angry. Why isn't it getting more attention by the media?

The only solution is to give the FBI expanded powers in the new Department of Homeland Security. [/sarcasm]

Sounds like Traficant knows what he is talking about when he pegs the F.B.I. as corrupt. Lets hope Bush and Ashcroft get that problem corrected without delay.

Lets hope Bush and Ashcroft get that problem corrected without delay. It's too late for them to get it settled without delay. If they can just get it settled period, I would fall down from pure shock.

Lets hope Bush and Ashcroft get that problem corrected without delay.Your hopes will be fruitless. Ashcroft has tried to keep information about the FBI corruption from being released.

from the above captioned article:
While President Clinton was trying to undermine investigations of his own campaign finance abuses, President Bush has ruled against the Burton committees access to old scandals unconnected to him. The Bush team has seemed to back away from an earlier blanket rejection of all congressional subpoenas, but its claim to invoke executive privilege on a case-by-case basis is suspect. Incredibly, it refuses to give up documents about the FBIs Boston office condoning law-breaking.
Read it and weep.
