Thanks, Carolina. I didn't have my camera handy when we were GOING to the Hill Country, and it was on that side of the Interstate.

When we started home, I put the camera in the console, and asked my husband if he would stop before we passed it again. Probably it was best to get it from across the interstate anyway!

Oh, MM7, thank you for posting your picture of the 'Parade of Flags' - makes my eyes tear. Just can never see Old Glory go by without getting all emotional.

Three women die together in an accident and go to heaven. When they get there, St. Peter says, "We only have one rule here in heaven...don't step on the ducks!"

So they enter heaven, and sure enough, there are ducks all over the place. It is almost impossible not to step on a duck, and although they try their best to avoid them, the first woman accidentally steps on one.

Along comes St. Peter with the ugliest man she ever saw. St. Peter chains them together and says, "Your punishment for stepping on a duck is to spend eternity chained to this ugly man!"

The next day, the second woman steps accidentally on a duck, and along came St. Peter, who doesn't miss a thing, and with him is another extremely ugly man. He chains them together with the same admonishment as for the first woman.

The third woman has observed all this and, not wanting to be chained for all eternity to an ugly man is very, VERY careful where she steps. She manages to go for months without stepping on any ducks, but one day St. Peter came up to her with the most handsome man she has ever laid eyes on ... very tall, long eye-lashes, muscular, and thin. St. Peter chains them together without saying a word. The woman remarks, "I wonder what I did to deserve being chained to you for all of eternity?"

The guy says, "I don't know about you, but I stepped on a duck.......

I was at the MFJ, but don't recognize anyone in the pictures.

I did have the good pleasure of meeting holden and mrs. holden, cyn, demnomo, Budge, JimRob, Michael Gallutia and his son, and many other wonderful people.

What a great weekend that was. It was like a family reunion even though we were just meeting for the first time.

Hi, mombonn! I remember seeing some of the early photos of the March, and there was one with Michael Gallutia with Lucianne Goldberg - the person who posted the picture didn't put a name on him, and it was only later that Onewhoknows... spoke up and said, "That's Mike Gallutia!"

Well, unfortunately I'm no help on this thread at all, don't recognize the FReepers, didn't make the FReep (and am probably wasting bandwidth with this non-answer... ;^)
