[history]
The economic conditions that existed when Gore was in office were over-inflated and, as we can see now, not sustainable over time.

Here is another interesting timeline of facts:
Clinton-Gore: See no evil It seems like the Republicans missed a opportunity here to put this all on the Dems. Instead of letting the Dems blame them, they should have been out front saying that all these scandals happened on Clinton/Gore's watch & now the Republican administration of morals & values needs to step in and clean up the mess.

It seems like the Republicans missed a opportunity Given Bush's popularity figures, I'd say that most thinking Americans know the truth.
The unfortunate fact is that American public schools aren't focusing upon teaching students to reason and think; they're primarily teaching them to "feel,."

Economics 101 1/4:
Possession of a credit card with a 10g limit doesn't constitute a 5g budget surplus when you spend 5g more than your income.
When the credit card statement comes, it's called a "recession"....

I think "thinking Americans" are a small minority, and Bush's popularity is founded more on terrorism fears than any rational thought process. The republicans better get it together and get out there in front of the cameras...because those numbers can fade in the twinkling of an eye.

On another theme for the Senate Campaign's to borrow from the Clinton-Gore play book. It's the spending stupid!
6 years of Republican control of both Houses = Surplus
6 months of DemoRat control of Senate = Deficit.

The Right needs to pound out some hard info on Al Gore and his involvement with Occidental Petroleum and the sale of the Elk Hill Oil reserves.

I thought the experts were talking economic downturn as far back as 1998?
