Disgusting MUST READ Special Report: Sex slaves of Europe
MSNBC ^ | 7.30.02 | various

Across a wide expanse of southeastern Europe, a trade in sex slaves is flourishing. Women, mostly from the destitute former republics of the Soviet Union, are being kidnapped or tricked into prostitution. They are brutalized and forced under threat of death to service men in lawless corners of the Balkans and the factory cities of Central Europe. Some are sold to feed the seedy sex industry of Amsterdam and Hamburg. Some are never heard from again.

Last month's Vanity Fair (the one with Colin Farrell of "Minority Report" and "Hart's War" on the cover) had a long article on this sex industry. The women are promised jobs as maids or other legitimate workers in the West and find themselves forced into brothels. Their clients include UN peacekeepers (including American soldiers and officers.)

We could stop it if we wanted too. It would be easy. It wouldn't take much economic pressure to convince former soviet states to crack down on the trade. They do it in the open. It would be easy to take it up in the G-8 and even sue members that don't enforce the law. That would but tremendous pressure on them and in turn on all states that allow this trade , like Israel. We could stop it very quikely but we just don't care. We're going to burn for it too.

I recall seeing a special program about this, but I don't remember whether it was network or cable. It concentrated on a few individuals whose families tried desperately to find their stolen daughters and get them back. One girl was fortunate, but the majority are spirited far from their homes and are imprisoned into a life of prostitution with no chance for escape. They are used until they either become ill with STD's or they wind up dying from physical abuse. It was a nightmarish account which I won't ever forget.

The American Bohemian Left celebrates the libertine lifestyle of socialist Europe. Perhaps Hillary might be persuaded to become a Dutch citizen. It is a "lifestyle" she approves of by her public silence.

We could stop it if we wanted to.

According to the article, this is occurring in Europe. Since when is it our business to enforce laws in Europe?

It would be easy. It wouldn't take much economic pressure to convince former soviet states to crack down on the trade. They do it in the open. It would be easy to take it up in the G-8 and even sue members that don't enforce the law. That would but tremendous pressure on them and in turn on all states that allow this trade , like Israel.

And the next time the rest of the world wants to impose their will on us (socialism, gun control, etc..), they'll turn around and do the same exact thing to us. Using methods pioneered by us.

Globalism is wrong, even when done for the right reasons. It'll just come back to haunt us. The loss of sovereignty we impose on other nations to impose our will, will be used against us.

Not just in the West. China is a major destination also, according to Soldier of Fortune magazine. They've had special reports on this in that last two issues.

I was doing research on the Prince Fahd death this morning and found a website that talked about the Saudi sex slave ring where they entice girls with modeling jobs and then they just disappear, or they just flat out abduct children. Apparently King Fahd's nephew was involved in one of these rings. It also claims the US is not doing anything to prevent this or save the children who are victimized as they are granting immunity to the Saudis who perpetrate these crimes. Not sure about the credibility of that site, I am sure it would be considered a "hate site" given the extremely negative stories on there about the Saudis on their main web page.

Does Yakov Smirnoff count as a prostitute?

What about his role in "Moscow on the Hudson"?

Israel doesn't allow the trade. It is quite illegal. However, with a large number of organized crime groups hiding amoing the recent immigrants (1/10 of the population), it is hard to crack down on.

I would note that the sexual slave trade is quite active in New York City. We have virtually decriminalized prostitution, only to see illegal immigrants being growught over to serve as sex slaves.

It is happening in Isreal big time. Aperently it doesn't matter that it's illegal.

The crack down needs to occure in the former soviet countries also. It would do more good there. The slave taders are well known and operate openly.

The global economy is already global. It's too late to be isolationist. Didn't Canada just win a ruling in the Economic trade coucel ? What is it called ? In any case there are many avenues that we can take that would end this tomarrow if we felt like it. We just don't care as a nation and we're going to fry for it.

Dallas Morning News
May 30, 2002

Federal authorities in Dallas are holding four Hondurans on charges related to a human-trafficking ring run out of a Fort Worth brothel, according to court records released Wednesday. Charged in a federal criminal complaint with conspiracy to harbor aliens are Dino Antonio Molina, 32; Dilicia Suyapa Molina, 27; Roger Galindo-Sepeda, 28; and Maria Isabel Cruz, 34. The two men and two women were among up to 90 people, rounded up in FBI raids May 16, who were part of an...

It happens in the US, but at least the authorities aren't covering it up.

Speak for yourself. You are guilty, so you will fry, but the rest of us are quite innocent. LOL
