You know, up until this last week I thought that Simon would squeak by a victory with 48.5% of the vote.
I really think he's going to get over 50%. For California where Democrats have a 10 pt registration advantage, that's a huge victory.

The most impressive thing to me is how the press corps, normally so protective of Dems, is really blasting Davis. At least that's my impression of the limited news I see way out here on the Right Coast.
