Just visited the website "Guidestar.org". The database shows a huge result list for NOW. It appears that NOW is organized with each state having a different non-profit corporation. There exists a "National Organization for Women Foundation, Inc." in Washington DC with a few hundred thousand dollars of assets. Reading the tax return states in Part VII of the Form 990 that:

Related organizations include National Organization for Women, Inc., a 501c4; Naitonal Organization for Women PAC; and National Organization for Women Equality PAC.
