August 3, 2002 -- WASHINGTON - More than 30 players in the Clinton scandals are seeking a taxpayer bailout to pay millions of dollars they ran up in lawyers' bills, court papers show.

The list of 33 people who have lined up for government-funded reimbursements looks like an all-star cast from the special prosecutor's eight-year, $70 million Whitewater and Sexgate investigations.

"Lawyers who have dealt with the court say its rulings on legal fees so far have been stingy." Well, if some of the players were'nt so stingy with their memory, recollections, billing records, explanations, and records perhaps their expensive attorneys may not have had to charge them as much.

Looking at Mr. and Mrs. Clinton's big mouths it sure looks like their two front teeth are mirror images of each other. Perhaps, they are morphing into each other. And maybe by the time the ambitiously greedy little Mrs. is ready to announce her really real intentions to run for the office of the presidency people will think she is the spitting image of her dear beloved impeached ex-prez.

I think it is more than that. My understanding is the person must be shown to have done no wrong doing and would not have been a target of the investigation except for a political vendetta of the independent counsel?

Monica, for instance, was granted immmunity for her behavior, correct? Hardly showing she engaged in no wrong doing.

Let's see here.... many of those who now have their palms out for some free money from US, the frequently-gored taxpayers, were clearly part of a conspiracy to obstruct fact-finding efforts for many months during 1997-98.
They lied, they fled, they invoked the 5th Amendment, they avoided investigators, they stalled, they destroyed documents, they claimed bogus "privileges", they twisted the truth, they re-defined several words in the English language, and they even sent taxpayer-paid cabinet members out to propagate their lies.... not to mention the ever-so-willing media sycophants who gladly ignored damning facts about Bubba and his circle of felonious friends.

And now, they would like US to pay them MILLION$ to fund their deliberate ruse???
