LOL! Histories, mysteries and Free Republic make up 90% of my reading material.

I have a book, "The History of England" published in the 1860's. It has the the best antidotes and is so much fun to read.

My favorite story:
Sir Walter Raleigh brought tobacco back from America to England. Occasionally he would indulge, but secretly.
One night he asked his servant to get him some wine, after which he mindlessly lit his tobacco filled pipe.
When the servant came in he immediately dumped the goblet on wine on Raleigh's head.
What else could he do when his master's head is on fire?

If American History textbooks were filled with stuff like this,it would be student's favorite subject!
