In the interests of not being accused of plagiarism myself (and out of deference to FreeRepublic's policy re the Los Angeles Times), not a single word is being plagiarized . . . um, pasted . . . here but CLICK HERE to read it yourself.

As astonishing as this may seem, Doris Kearns Goodwin was ripped a new one today by the L.A. Times. Inside the story are several new examples of her "plagiarism that is not plagiarism." Unbelievable! The Left is eating one of their own. Oh, the humanity . . .

As astonishing as this may seem, Doris Kearns Goodwin was ripped a new one today by the L.A. Times. Didn't Doris have an affair with LBJ?

I found her lamenting the imbroglio following her latest case of plagiarism as pathetic.
"I couldn't see how it could end. It just kept going on, day after day."
Common thieves are awarded jail time that seemingly lasts forever. Literary thieves as branded as plagiarists, deal with it.

Why did such a "smart" woman need to read other authors' books on topics she was interested in?
Shouldn't a serious historian like Goodwin have depended on original sources, rather than the second-hand or third-hand ones she plagiarized?
