Interesting........a jury of 12 (Democrats?) reach a verdict in favor of the people suing the Simon company and now, the State of Californication is handed to Davis. That speaks volumes about Californicators. I would never let a jury decide who I should vote for. Just a thought.....did anyone look into the background of the jurors? Are any of them even US citizens?

Let 'em spend their money where they want. It's a free country .. still. But let them also bear the burden of explaining how poisoning the environment and benefitting from it is OK. MTBE & DioXin Come to Mind.

This is much drivel about nothing IMO.

Back in the mafia days, this was known as a "protection racket". You paid the local goodfellas a percentage of your profits every month to ensure that nothing "unfortunate" happened to your business.

The phrase "Republicrat" still stands as 100% accurate. There are no true "Republicans" or "Democrats". Just wealthy people with self interests looking for the best body to purchase. Condit would still be in office if he had the power in D.C. Because he was weakened by scandal and no longer a viable investment, he was soaked by his "supporters". If anyone believes our Republic is still decided by the common scmuck, just look at the number of incumbents re-elected this November. The Imperial Repbulic lives on. For now.

What this doesn't tell you is that many of these people give money to both parties. Microsoft does! Why wouldn't other companies. But ... for the sake of this story, they may be focasing on only the repub donations to Davis.
