Since you're an athiest, I will disregard your idiotic remarks about God. How can you have any opinion about HIM, when you don't know HIM?? That's like trying to describe the personality of a person you've never met!! How stupid is that??

Just like you 'know' him based on alleged conversations with this big guy in the sky? You're opinion about this god is based on a leather bound book, parchament, whatever while those who are areligious, can look objectively at the 'nature' of various gods, because they're not so enamored with this higher power. They can see the acts that his 'dictated' religious text has inspired, what it stands for, without trying to mush it up so that it fits with the rest of everything in that book. They can point out the errors and contradictions.

It's best when they remain open to all possibilities, however. Do we KNOW there is no god? No, but if there is, I believe the Christians, Islam, et al. have it all wrong - religion as we know it now is man-made for man's comfort. I can't say there is no god, just like I can't say we're not some space creature's experimental universe -- I leave all possibilities open for legitimate and hopefully eventually verifiable information.

Does the idea of a completely Sovereign Holy God comfort you?

"I can't say there is no god, just like I can't say we're not some space creature's experimental universe -- I leave all possibilities open for legitimate and hopefully eventually verifiable information."

If that's the case, why do you reject the Word of God out of hand?

Have you actually read it?

Can YOU point out any contradictions for me?

I know there is God. I know it in my soul. I know that God exists when I wake up in the morning and my wife is still alive. She is a cancer survivor as far back as 1993. At one point - back in Dec 1997 - a spot was found on her other breast during a mamagram. A week went by, after much prayer, and when it was time to do the biopsy, the spot was gone. God touched my wife and made her better.

The point being, who do you turn to in your most dire need? Who will be there for you? At the moment of death, whose name will you call out?

I leave all possibilities open for legitimate and hopefully eventually verifiable information.

You, as well as everyone else, have already been given verifiable information on the existence of a Higher, Spiritual Power. It is just that many people don't pay close enough attention to fully comprehend the signs. It took me 30 years to become Aware. The signs are the coincidences that happen every single day in your life. Carl Jung wrote at length about them back in the early 1900's and coined the term meaningful coincidences and synchronicity. Pay very close attention to the coincidences that happen in your life. Once you start paying attention, you will eventually come to the realization that there is, without a doubt, a Higher Power or Greater Reality at work behind the scenes, guiding you along in your life. Also, learn about Karma. Make every thought and action in your life derive from these keywords: Love, patience, understanding, compassion, caring and positivity.

Those who would like to know more should read these two former #1 NY Times bestseller books: the celestine prophecies and the seat of the soul. Read more about Carl Jung. See these movies: signs, mothman prophecies and vanilla sky. Also the Matrix (derived from Jung's "collective unconcious").

But do one thing before all of this. The first line in Vanilla Sky: "Open your Eyes."

Best wishes to all.

What if you're wrong?
