The only time I ever saw a tape like that was on the 700 Club.
They videotaped a "Pro-Choice" counter protest at an abortion mill outside of Chicago.
Two topless women held up a toy baby doll, and proceeded to tear it apart in front of the crowd, and pretended they were eating it.
Of course, CBS and ABC led with the story .......................(not!)
Then you're against drug laws? After all, if she wants to put substances IN HER BODY, it's her choice, right? ARe you against seatbelt laws? Helmet laws? This is government telling her what to do with her body (protect it), right?
Or "Woman takes risks and now must face the consequences."
Oh, please, stop it. Imagine a drama queen glued to her keyboard, high on hyperbole, invoking images of goosestepping nazis, all because the "right to kill" ones baby has been *gasp* infringed!
Judges impose civil restrictions on all sorts of activites on all sorts of people on a daily basis.
They're judges. It's what they do.
A few months ago there was a case in the news where a male was prohibited by court order from having sex. Where were the radikal feminstaz then?
A woman's legal right to kill her offspring has become The Right of Record in this country. It's the only "right" that garners the mad dash of defenders at the slightest sign of impediment.
NO other right is granted such absolute inviobility as the right to kill a woman's offspring.
It is truly a sad commentary on how tragically fuc*ed up this country has become.
Very good reply.
"It is settled law that the only parties with a say in the first trimester of pregnancy is the woman, in consultation with a doctor."
Man, this thread is really smoking the pro-aborts out of the "conservative" woodwork, isn't it.
Get over yourself toots. It's also a "settled matter of law" that a person can own a house, a car, a shotgun, etc. Yet, judges daily make decisions that require people to give up these items against their will.
It's really amazing the way the "right" to kill one's offspring is so violently defended as being absolutely inviolable, as if it were completely above the law, unlike any other right.
Not until "Woman forces Man to Support her Child" becomes headline news.
And those who would argue to the contrary are laying a firm foundation for a major overhaul of the child support laws in this country.
Looks like the pro-aborts are rapidly painting themselves into a corner.
Imagine the 18 year old girl who has to live with the fact that she just killed her baby and the fact that her mother was so "happy" with giving birth to her that her mother wants her to kill her baby.
This reminds of something I experienced as a pediatric ER nurse. It had such an effect on me I will never forget it. We had a 15 yo girl come in with her mother. The girl had just had an abortion. She was screaming, sobbing. It was the kind of grief a person feels when they have done something so horrible and can never take it back. All she could do was cry "I killed my baby, I killed my baby." It affected every one of us there very deeply. There was nothing 'physically' wrong with her and our ER doc didn't know what to do. She was upset and had to leave the room. My friend and I just looked at each other while another nurse (pro-abort who probably had an abortion herself) went into the room and tried to tell the girl that "it was no big deal". The 15 yo screamed louder and that nurse finally ran out of the room.
I called the social worker. She got there, became agitated, and left. I later learned that the social worker had had an abortion as a teenager and freaked out. I called pastoral care. No one wanted to show up. It was just me and my co-worker outside the door and neither of us knew what to do. The 15 yo's mother just sat there in the room the whole time with a blank look on her face. Finally, our doctor just discharged her.
I will never, ever forget that patient.
Neither will I now. It's giving me chills and making me feel sick to my stomach at the same time. Thanks for recounting that horrific story.
And there are a great many just like her...
It was feminists who opposed the court decision AND it was the female judges who overturned it. The male judges were for it.
I suggest you STOP HARASSING ME NOW.
