"Permanent absentee" = Dead people votes

This would make it convenient for dead Maryland Democrat voters … they would not have to go to the polls anymore! And I’ll bet they’ll even find a Democrat operative to hand-deliver the absentee ballots on time … can’t trust that USPS!

Maybe the remaining republicans can put up a bill that would replace permanent absentee voting status to one that expires, say after 150 or 200 years.

On second thought, nope, the pubs probably won't get that passed.

Dead people are passe. It is so much easier to put illegal aliens on busses and take them to the polling place. Now they can skip the bus trip. I wonder how many languages the voter forms will be printed in?
