Question: why is it that you imply, by placing quotation marks around allies, that England et al. have betrayed the United States by their vote? Last I looked this was a vote that could be viewed as against Israel. Israel and the United States are not one entity. Now, having said that, to hell with the UN, and Israel shouldn't worry about this resolution in the slightest. But the real question is, how does it affect America?

The US and Israel are not one, that is true. However, it is not difficult to understand that the US and Israel are staunch allies in the fight against the murderous hordes of Islamisicts who seek the destruction of the US, Israel, and any other "infidel" that will not bend to their will.

• The fact that the Netherlands, Sweden, Australia (who at least abstained), and France (who are all currently suffering large-scale Islam-driven gang-rapes, church-attacks, and anti-Semitism) cannot see the wisdom of siding with the US is appalling.
• The fact that Kuwait, South Korea, Britain, Belgium, and most of Eastern Europe (all of whom we bled and sacrificed to rescue from imminent oppression) will not stand by us in our efforts to serve Israel in a similar fashion is disgraceful.
• The fact that the scores of nations (Africa, Central America, Southern and Eastern Asia) that we keep alive through (rarely repaid) loans, emergency food supplies, famine and epidemic relief, massive amounts of private charity, promises of protection, international bodies (none of which would ever have existed without our initiative), and an invited military presence do not repay our kindness, patience, generosity, compassion, strength, knowledge, and goodwill is insulting.

Winning or averting the World War between Western Values (most widely spread by America) and Islamic Culture (mostly widely promoted by the same nations confronting Israel) is CERTAINLY worth finally calling in those debts. There will never be a more important, immediate, or critical reason to expect gratitude and solidarity.

The War on Terror will certainly come to confront the daily and intentional Palestinian murders of civilians. The Islamicist nations will most likely attack if and when our move against the Palestinians (or Iraq, or Saudi Arabia) is successful. If 114 nations are too stupid, evil, ungrateful, anti-Semitic, or envious to stand by us now, then they should not expect nor receive any assistance for a long time... especially if we lose.
