>>> Here are ten reasons why so called African Americans should vote Republican:

Here! Here! With your permission, I'd like to post this as a separate thread (and I've already posted it on my own site as well), of course with credit to you, my friend! <<<

I haven't figured out this HTML thing! Anyhow, what bugs me is that the Republicans haven't figured out how to parlay the things I wrote. If the Republicans could capture, say 30% of the black vote, one of two things would happen. Either:

A)The Democrats would have to make a genuine move to the right in order to counter their losing too many elections (good).

or

B)The Democrats would simply lose all elections (better).

I'm not saying that Republicans need to demagogue or even pander to the blacks in this country in order to make this happen. Everything I said in my post is TRUE and Republicans, in general, stand for all of it. It will probably be a long time before the Republican Party can gain a majority of blacks but I know quite a few black people and they always seem as reasonable (or even more reasonable) as some white people I know. Why they continue to vote as a monolithic group is beyond me. It's time to go after them with clear, common sense reasons to cross over!

"At what point do we stop whimpering, whining and begging?" asked Peterson. The decades long, primarily grass roots movement for reparations was introduced to Congress in 1989. The initial movement was targeted against corporations who owned slaves. Activists wanted blacks compensated for their ancestors’ labor. Supporters are now not only seeking a national apology from the U.S. government, but also a massive payout by Congress.

Where do they think congress gets it's money? Working taxpayers, black and white alike. Incredible. Reparations paid to non-slaves by non-slaveowners.

Petersons question here begs an answer. How long until the black population say's 'screw the handouts we'll do it ourselves'? Reparations are merely a few more crumbs from the tables of the democratic elite (the white democratic elite). They don't want you to better your own lives and communities and do for yourselves. They want you to be dependent. They want you to be their niggers.

This post (Melody Wells) is absolutely bizarre in the magnitude of it's ignorance. Incredibly, she appears to know not the first thing about American post-slavery history (That until the 1960's, Black American families were more stable than White American families, with lower rates of illegitimacy and little divorce, despite lower SES, but even that was catching up faster before the "Great Society" than after.)

The "psychological injuries" of Black Americans today, If there are any, are the results of the last forty years.
