Well, the productive ones are stripped bare and kicked out. Now the appointees of Mugabe will have to feed the country. Let black Africans feed their own.

It is not enough to just say that. What we need to do and what we should do is bombard our Representatives and Senators and tell them: "Not one damned dollar for Zimbabwe. Not now, not ever. Let them reap what they sow. Not one damned dollar."

I just sent my letter:

I have been reading about what is going on in Zimbabwe, and want to put my opinion about the situation on record, so that when the inevitable starvation disaster occurs there, you will already know what concerned US citizens like me are thinking.

Since Mugabe sees fit to throw successful farmers off their land without compensation and then give the property to his chosen people regardless of their farming skills or their property rights, it appears likely to me that there will be massive starvation, which will be followed by fighting over what little food is available. When that happens and the UN demands that the United States send money, food and armed forces to oversee humanitarian aide distribution, we must not send one red cent over there. It is one thing to support true disasters, or to intervene where the United States has legitimate National Security interests. It is another entirely to rescue that country from problems of their own deliberate creation, at the expense of American lives. And make no mistake about it, even if we don't have to send troops, the taking of taxes is at the expense of American lives, and we count on you to ensure that the part of our lives spent earning those taxes is not wasted on the underserving.

Thank you for your time and attention to this "future" issue.
