Alan Simpson, Wyoming Republican, recalls Mr. Gore approaching then-Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole to request extra time for a Senate speech Mr. Gore intended to make in favor of using U.S. troops in the 1991 Gulf War. Thank you for the details of Al Gore's disgusting behavior. It shows the true Al Gore. No wonder he made a perfect running mate for Clinton.
