Do you say that because we're a bad example, a bad apple that comes from the same tree? An English country just like your own going down the socialist path and not turning into a land of gulags and starvation?

Mexico and Islam and China are foreign but Canada is similar enough for our socialist ways to insinuate themselves into your culture.

Yes, you have articulated what I was thinking, but was too lazy to articulate. I get hacked off when I start thinking about Canada, and can't write straight. ALL of my personal dealings with Canadians has been negative in the extreme. I realize my own country, led by California and New England and the upper Midwest, is fast following your footsteps.

I should say that I have "met" a few canadians here at FR who I think would be an exception to the rule I have found in my pesonal dealings of Canadians being SOBs. I should also point out that my dealings have by and large been with Montrealers, and not those from the western provinces. It seems to me that Montreal is the closest thing today to Sodom and Gomorrah.
