"As we used to say in high school:

If Gore had a brain, he'd be dangerous"

Add to that: If he (Gore) had a brain, he'd take it out and play with it.

Al Gore is basing his political appeal on dividing us along class lines.

He's nothing if not consistent - the eternal paradox of liberalism is that while decrying the existence of classes (financial and otherwise), it is dependent on the "haves" for it's own existence. Larger government and increased entitlements depend on having people around who can pay for them. Taken to it's conclusion, what Gore supports is nothing but an elaborate Ponzi scheme.

"Al Gore has, apparently, decided to move his candidacy from the commitment to solving problems all Americans have in common, which characterized the Clinton administration, to a divide-and-conquer strategy."

Who does this Bozo think he is kidding? All along, Slick effectively used class warfare and breaking up the American public into warring factions to protect his own ass and maintain his own power.

I know that the main theme of this article is correct, but Morris cannot write anything without a lie to cover his own backside!

We would do well to remember that Gore nearly won the election using class warfare tactics. Whatever counter-attack we used against this idea before was barely successful at that time. It should be re-evaluated, updated, and improved or changed.

I got this far before having to post the above absurdity.

Gore was an apostle of the center, working with Clinton to move America forward. Now, he has joined the ranks of Mondale, Dukakis and Jerry Brown as a card-carrying liberal. It's a loss for the nation, a mistake by Gore and bad news for Democrats.

Which is precisely why I hope he gets the dem candidacy

He needs a brain transplant if he thinks Clinton was committed to solving our nation's problems. They always want the issue not the solution. Did putting gays in the military solve or create problems? What about raising taxes? Closing off wilderness areas and letting the forests fill up with fuel - did that create problems or solve them? etc. etc.

Lieberman might be the closest one to center but you know what he did with his beliefs when he joined Gore in 2000.

'Holy' Joe Loserman's slippery slide into the Algore positions in 2000 is reminiscent of the old saying, "We've already established what you are, Joe. Now we're just negotiating on the price."

Not that I'm complaining, but did Dick Morris have a brain transplant somewhere along the way?

Yeah, he finally found a way to get screwed that he didn't enjoy...working for the Clintons.

Could've entitled this piece "Hold your nose. Al's letting it rip again."

That's too funny!! This should be included from now on as a byline to all Gore postings. It makes an excellent warning.

When a Democrat is in office, they tell us all is right with the world, though it is actually a false sense of security that we feel.

Great post! Another example of 'all is right with the world' should include Clinton's non-handling of the numerous terrorist attacks on America and American interests during his tenure.

You sound like one of those racists who don't feel sorry for every black because he's black. How insensitive!

Pray for GW and the Truth

This is not the republican party I grew up with

This is not the America I grew with and Thomas Wolff said, "You can't go home again."
