Unh, unh Mr. Morris. Their fault line moves every 20 years or so.

Now, the fault line runs between the left and the radical left. There is no centrist, democratic voice.

Lieberman might be the closest one to center but you know what he did with his beliefs when he joined Gore in 2000.

Todays dems would view George McGovern as a “centrist” democrat!

Both parties have shifted way left. This is not the republican party I grew up with

And that's happened to the GOP as well. Thirty years ago, I probably would have been considered a centrist Republican. Now folks think that I am an arch-conservative because I am for limited government, for gun rights and against abortion. I really haven't changed that much, instead the country has changed, and not for the better...

'Holy' Joe Loserman's slippery slide into the Algore positions in 2000 is reminiscent of the old saying, "We've already established what you are, Joe. Now we're just negotiating on the price."
