Every Free Republic devotee should use the term "socialist" when referring to democrats. He or she should use this term with anyone that they discuss politics with. Doing this drives Liberals (progressives) up the wall. They get bothered to no end. Read up on socialism, get the socialist key words and tricky phrases, and throw these phrases back as proof that the democrats are socialists. Every once in awhile , for added effect, throw the word "communist" in.

I have been using commie Rat to refer to the Rat party for a while. If we could make Progressive = Liberal, we might score a win in the language wars.

I live in the Boston area, in some Rat areas to be known as a liberal is a death sentence, so they adopted progressive.
