I forgot to post that my son no longer eats sugared cereal and has candy only on special occasions. If we would only look at the sugar content in most breakfast cereals, we would realize we, too, are drugging our children with a high-energy drug and then telling them to sit still in class. What a recipe for frustration and disaster.
